In the fall of 2019, following a gender affirming surgery, Samuele comes out as trans and non-binary. Rested and at peace with himself, a feeling that had left him then resurfaced: the desire to create. Samuele then embarked on the creation of a book-album: Une paillette dans l'engrenage, to be released in February 2023. Directly inspired by his journey, this multidisciplinary project consists of 12 songs coupled with a book exploring the themes of transformation, joy and healing.

For this new chapter, he wanted to combine his favorite mediums of song, poetry and essay to speak of individual and collective revolution, using the lens of his own transformation, against a backdrop of catchy music and melodies.
